bardiya national parkBardia National Park is situated in the lowlands of Western Nepal covering 968 sq. Kms. It's flora and fauna resembles that of the better known Chitwan National Park , some interesting species can be seen more easily or only in Bardia. The park is multi faceted including sub-tropical forest swamp and grasslands, where over 350 species of birds, leopards, great one horned rhinoceros, swamp deer, black buck, wild elephant and smooth Indian others are dominant. Muger and Gharial crocodiles share the water with gangatic dolphins as well as several other species of reptiles, amphibians, insects and butterflies, Creatures you only dream of!!

Sal trees, grass lands, savannah and many more forest, Rhinoceros, wild elephant, tiger, swamp deer, black duck, gharial crocodile and gigantic dolphin, Bengal florican, lesser florican, silvered mesia Sarus cranes etc.
Access : By aeroplane through daily flight to Nepalgunj or By private vehicle (car/bus) via Mahendra Highway.
Activities : Jeep drive, Elephant safari, Culture Show, Bird Watching, Rafting in Karnali River
